Project Scope:

47,000 SF; $3.5 million

Project Description: Redevelopment of a three-story and sub-level 47,000 square foot historical structure, originally designed by the renowned Alfred Giles in 1862. Other than the Alamo, it is the only true limestone structure located on Alamo Plaza. The building houses two levels of retail space and two levels of office space. The project also included the three-story Palace Building adjacent to the Crockett. The Palace Building contains approximately 21,000 square feet.

Scope of Work included an assessment of existing conditions, research, inventory and documenting of historical data; preparation of preliminary statement of probable cost to be included in the financial package; preparation of Construction Documents and Construction Management. Presentation to the local Historic Review Board and to the Texas Historic Commission. Architect performed construction administration services and complete space planning for all tenants.
